Although I loved to draw and be creative as a young child, at school I had to give up art as a subject when I was twelve because the lessons clashed with physics!, so I've never had any formal art teaching, something I've often regretted.

A recent trip to Berlin has inspired me to start using some of the amazing resources that are available on the internet in order to learn some new skills, and yesterday followed a couple of YouTube video tutorials by Stan Prokopenko, an artist and teacher from San Diego, California. It made me realise just how much I have to learn!
